Democrats don't have any standards. The only reason they bring them up is because they know Republicans do.
People will never forget that the Democrats are the party that burned down the country, destroyed business and executed in cold blood business owners that were defending their stores all in the name of social justice. They executed police officers and burned out police cars and even burned down churches. They repeatedly stopped people driving in the streets, pulled them from their vehicles and beat them to death. This is the Democrat Party that we all have come to know which is nothing but a radical left wing communist group that wants money. Trillions of dollars given to them because they blame their economic wows on racism.

Climate change is the biggest part of the story. That's why the Democrats cancelled the Keystone Pipeline and stopped any drilling in ANWR. It's why Obama effectively banned coal as a source of energy for power plants. Biden wants to spend trillions on infrastructure projects but it's all going to green companies. Just like when Obama was president. More money for more lies. If you bothered to understand the science behind energy you would understand that our world's economy would not survive without energy from fossil fuel. For the real science. the greenhouse effect caused by CO2 concentration is self-limiting and that is because the frequency band in which greenhouse gases CO2 and Water vapor absorb infrared radiation radiating from the surface of the earth overlap. The amount absorbed by CO2 varies by altitude and at 100 meters, nearly all energy is already absorbed by CO2 and Water vapor. A few frequency bands make it up to higher elevations before the transmittance is 100%. Adding more carbon dioxide to the atmosphere is not going to absorb any more infrared radiation. You can't absorb what has already been absorbed. It's like painting a barn red. After two coats of paint, it doesn't get anymore red. God Knew what he was doing when he made the atmosphere. It's as if years ago the concentration in the atmosphere was 20 times the current levels of 0.04% by volume on a dry air basis. Oh did someone mention the flood? Where did all the carbon for new life on earth after the flood come from? Plants. Where did plants get if from? The atmosphere. Hmmm. Then what was the concentration right after the flood? Well. It had to be enough to sustain all current life on earth. About 20 times current CO2 levels.
The current level is 400 parts per one million or 0.04% by volume.
78.08% of the atmosphere is nitrogen, 20.93% is oxygen and 0.93% is Argon. Nitrogen, Oxygen and Argon protect us from harmful UV and x-rays coming from the sun. CO2 and Water vapor keep us warm. They keep the average earth temperature at 59°F and adding more CO2 is hardly going to increase the average temperature of the earth. It may go up a degree or two but that is an average and mostly at the equator. Remember. Warmer doesn't mean hotter. It just means it stayed above a certain temperature longer and that is typically at the equator where the sun hits more directly on the planet. Not the polar icecaps.
