One good thing it seems that Deshaun is confident in his knee. He doesn't seem to favor it much or have a mental hurdle of protecting the knee. I think after last night I'm starting to get over the holding my breathe everytime someone makes contact with Deshaun.

I do hope we try to game plan and limit him taking all the extra hits. I just don't know if the risk/threat of him running is worth the reward. We have dynamic players the defenses should have to honor win a gunslinger....how is that threat not enough to keep the defense from not crowding the box?

The OLine obviously needs to get better so he can have confidence to stay in the pocket a little longer and let our receivers be our receivers. He got a little spoked.

I think this team really gets things going coming off the bye week....at least I hope so. Our freshman have gotten some experience and now they will be ready for more responsibility. We really need to get Cain and RRM ready to be on the field for way more of the offensive snaps. They have what seems to be missing a bit on the outside (with not MW) and offer the threat we need down the field and horizontally. Scott is such a monster he seems a lot like Steve Smith in his receiver mentality and his gtfo me tacklers. He is always shoving guys off left and right and refuses to go down. Cain being more utilized helps Scott exploit the defense. Renfrow is a player that brings ferocity every play. TEs have to set up with the blocking. Get Garret Williams prepared. OCs need to get more aggressive at running the "Clemson" offense. Vertical shots with Deshaun should strike fear in DCs.

Gallman is playing better than most everyone anticipated. I really hope we get Tyshon and Brooks rolling.

A win is a win is a win.
