Detransitioners Give SHOCKING Testimony on Having Gender Altering Surgeries as KIDS

Look, we should all be compassionate about what trans kids and adults are going through. The culture war on it is too much. BUT, it would dramatically close the divide if we could all agree that:

  • Biological boys should not play girls sports
  • Minors should not go through surgical and hormonal transitions
  • Biological boys should not use girls restrooms and locker rooms in school (where pretty much everyone is a minor)

My guess is the vast majority of the country agrees with this.

I would agree with this with one addition, no preferred pronouns. You can live in an alternate reality, just don’t expect anyone else to participate in it.

Agreed nothing more doesnt need to be more complicated than this. Just basic ground rules for all to follow and nobody should be discriminated against for just being trans. But dont force this stuff on kids. Feel bad for the two in the video. Kids need to develop in a natural way..

I semi agree. If they want to call each other by pronouns go for it it doesnt affect me. However dont expect or try to force me to do the same. Now your infringing on my free speech. Live and let live on that...

That’s pretty unimportant in the grand scheme. My 3 were about protecting kids. Pronouns is you just not wanting to do something you don’t like, even though it’s important to another person.

Well if we don't know, then I'm not worrying about it. If they get offended, it's not my problem or anyone elses but theirs.
It's not the public's job to figure out what you ID as.

Maybe it's unimportant to you, however, I think reality is very important. Once you make an exception for one group of people then you have to make exceptions for everyone. They aren't special.

spoken like a guy who has read the constitution at least twice. how did you graduate middle school?

There have been hundreds of posts on here about the trans stuff. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone disagree with the three points above. Can I assume that this is another scotchtiger common sense we-all-agree position?

This is Ben Shapiros position. So is it immediately extreme?

I agree with the points @scotchtiger made. I totally disagree with your point. If someone asks me to call them by a nickname, different pronoun, why wouldn't I? To intentionally not refer to someone as they have told you they prefer is just being an asshole. It doesn't effect or hurt you at all to be nice and respectful.

Ok, let’s test your theory.

Please address me as Master Ole Fastball from here on out.

You are an asshole if you don’t. And remember it doesn’t effect you to you at all to address me as Master Ole Fastball.

Sounds pretty ridiculous and you won’t do it because it’s stupid.

Not the same thing, but if you preferred Fastball to Ole fastball, I'd have no issue with it.

Why is it a challenge for you to call someone by another name if that's how they would prefer it?

No, I prefer Master Ole fastball. Please explain how it is not the same thing?

You won’t address me as that from here on out because it’s stupid.

The same reason I’m not addressing a man as a woman. Because it’s stupid and irrational and encouraging someone’s mental illness. It’s downright immoral and wrong.

And that's what is different, I don't feel that it is a mental illness, and what is immoral about an adult deciding they feel more like a particular gender and wanting to live their life that way? Why does that bother you?

It bothers me that you didn’t address me as Master Ole Fastball. It doesn’t hurt you to address me as that and it would make me feel better.

I can’t take your position seriously until you address me properly.

Why does it bother you to address me as I would like to be addressed?

You won’t do it because it’s pure stupidity.

And it doesn’t bother me how an adult chooses to lead their lives.

It bothers me when you mutilate children. It bothers me when children are targeted about their sexuality in grammar and middle school.

It bothers me when you expect me to address you as something you are not.

Adults doing their own thing doesn’t bother me. It’s when you force your beliefs on me or children that bothers me. Requesting to be called a fictional name infringes on me and I think it’s doing a disservice to participate in that.

In principle, I agree with you. And decent people will probably make the accommodation.

Here’s even the rub for me. This is all about EMOTIONAL CHEMICAL or PHYSICAL transformation that an individual is doing. It’s not NOW OUR problem to address their personal journey.

Such as:
1. Susan gets a PHYSICAL large boob job.
Why Susan wasn’t her self yet, she isn’t telling the public to address her as Big Titty Suzy now. Should we if she demands it?

2. Lost my EMOTIONAL and PHYSICAL arm in a car wreck. Please address me as One Arm Andy. If you don’t, I’m offended and I’ll cancel you for not making fun of a disabled person based upon my rules.

3. Someone who isn’t EMOTIONAL CHEMICAL PHYSICAL very smart. I demand you call me IVY League Tony. The perception I’m intelligent to the world is a requirement for me. If you don’t call me my name as I say, you’re an asshole.

Point is. Individual problems are NOT the ownership of others. An even though some people can make accommodations, I don’t expect the world will, can or should.

It’s like someone who has a child of a 504 ACCOMMODATION. I don’t expect their services to be perfect. I don’t expect all kids to understand. I do expect a teacher to get frustrated.

You make adjustments to yourself or elements of you that are naturally unique, the demands you artificially place on the world is a gesture. Not an indictment on society to adjust to all whims. This applies to dumbassery of book banning too. Same principle.
