When you think about it, it’s really amazing how the general perception of a football team’s season comes down to a few plays.
If Clemson literally makes one more play in the South Carolina game they are 11-2, the #3 seed, and being viewed as a hot team that is a trendy pick to win it all.
If Hauser misses the field goal I think there’s a high likelihood Clemson loses in OT. At 9-4 with two crushing loses back to back where the team is completely inept in the 4th quarter might lead to Dabo turning over a third of the coaching staff.
Look at Georgia… They are literally two plays from 9-4 and out of the playoff. What would the national narrative on them be right now?
