Does Posting and Discussion on This Forum Really Have Value or Help Make the World a Better Place

Just was sitting here on July 4th wondering to myself if my writing or responding to threads accomplishes anything of substance

I believe in civility and work at being humble and kind but also to be firm in your faith and beliefs

I also detest the massive fake news and agenda driven 24/7 misinformation campaign from all sides

I see the real problem is everyone seems to be seeking unbridled power to control others and the conversation

so much vile hate incivility

Is it worth it

What think ye guys

I love discussion but no it is not worth the trouble. The forum should be called the confirmation bias table.

Random thoughts, not attacking anyone, lifting up anyone, not disagreeing or agreeing.

Pretty harmless, with some random hope injected.

Please consider my post not as a judgment on people but as a question on my judgement about spinning wheels or having traction

it’s like a financial decision

are you making money or not

if you are making money then keep doing it

so if I am informing and educating myself which results in my improving my skills to work at making me, my community and the world a better place then being here is worth it

just musing on it
