Looking at the projected 2015 starters vs. the starters we lost, there could be a drop off in team speed. Losing Beasley, Anthony, and Steward is a big deal in terms of speed. Those guys were all exceptionally fast for their size. Replacing them with Lawson, Boulware, and Goodson is a big step back in terms of speed. I would imagine that Dodd and Crawford are about the same quickness, but Reader is much larger than Jarrett and Watson ran a sub 5 40. Steward made some big tackles for us on the outside all year long. He showed tremendous quickness and tackling ability. Anthony had a great year and was exceptional in pass coverage and rushing the QB. I think our defense will be above average, but I also think we will be a step slower and not quite as good with our pass rush.
