THIS. This is capitalism working as intended.
Musk bought a company for reasons and took it from public to private. Capitalism at work. THEN he fired > half the people that worked there for reasons. He's the owner, again Capitalism at work.
But actions have consequences and he put a TON of experts at what that company does into the unemployment lines (and again, that's the way the system works... He has every right to do that).
It's also the right of every one of those unemployed workers to get another job using their skills. I wouldn't think it would be very hard for those same experts to change what they know JUST ENOUGH to evade the law. It happens all the time... There's some great innovative product and within a few years, there's a ton of "knockoff" brands doing the same thing and doing it cheaper and (sometimes) better or worse. Again, capitalism working as intended.
I don't see the problem here. Musk seems all about Capitalism when HE'S on the side that's making money. Now, not so much...
Look what's happening in DeSantistan because of his dystopian, anti-woke policies. Seems like Americans are rejecting the culture wars the Right is waging. Love it!

More than half a dozen planned large conventions in South Florida “have been scrapped in recent months,” and when asked for a reason why they were scrapping plans, one organizer wrote simply: “Governor DeSantis.”
One massive convention that recently pulled out, the 2024 National Family and Community Engagement and Community Schools Conference, canceled “over 2,000 hotel rooms” that it had booked and announced, “We decided to pull out of Florida due to concerns about what the Governor is doing in the education/schools and that he will likely run in 2024.“
The American Specialty Toy Retailing Association had planned a 3,000-person conference in Florida, but is now instead headed to Milwaukee because of the “unfriendly political environment in Florida.”
Another large convention that recently pulled out of Florida, the Supreme Council of America Ancient & Accepted Scottish Rite Masons, canceled over 855 hotel rooms it had booked and announced, “We lost this program due to the political climate.”
If this is what DeSantis has done to Florida, just imagine what he would do to the United States economy if he becomes president… "
