Being transparent only to your friends who can only share what is helpful to you with the general public is the opposite of transparent. FYI.
I was in charge of nothing, for the record. While investigations are still ongoing, I would've been fine with things being confidential under the prior administration and felt that way about this one too. How investigations tend to work best and get the most convictions etc. (that is assuming things are truly still being investigated and case isn't closed etc).
Reminds me of both "teams" coming out of closed door sessions and sharing only snippets of the story with the public. When the context and full story often explains or even contradicts what was announced.
I don't really care how they get out, but let the people see what our intelligence agencies have been doing. This is the cleansing we need. This is what we call a good start.
I suspect they didn't charge anyone because they couldn't find enough evidence to actually charge them with crimes, even if every person investigating thought it was more than likely.
Which is pretty typical, that's what a DA has to decide, can we prove this in a court of law?
And don't make me laugh just releasing the info to Far Right Twitter accounts, show an example of where the previous admin did something similar.
So you don’t think they had evidence of crimes, but they convicted Ghislaine? How do you square that? Who did she traffic the girls to? No one?
So what is your theory? That they have evidence of crimes (videos I guess?), and everyone that is part of the investigation is just evil?
Ghislaine was mainly convicted due to personal testimony from the girls (women now) that she trafficked them to Jeffrey Epstein's island. We don't know if those victims were able to accurately, and beyond a reasonable doubt, prove who the rapists are. That's probably why the list hasn't been made public, as there's accusations in there which can't be proven beyond a reasonable doubt and there will likely be a ton of defamation trials upon its release when people's names start popping up on it.
It's going to be interesting to see and i'm glad it's finally being released.
We know for a fact that the FBI collected video evidence of what happened at the island. The girls, now women, have testified that they were trafficked. Ghislaine was convicted. I just can't see all that evidence and then think they don't know who the women were trafficked to.
So, i think they are hiding something. Its also well documented that Epstein was a Mossad agent. He had something like $600 mill in his bank account and no real track record of how he accumulated that wealth other than he worked at Bear Stearns. His time at Bear Stearns does not show that he would have made that kind of money.
It makes the most sense to me that Epstein was running a honeypot operation to compromise individuals.
I think the FBI ultimately got embarrassed that they were running such an operation, realizing they were abusing young women.
They thought they could control the narrative, but the invention of social media has jarred that control loose. And now the people are demanding answers.
What do you think of all the video that was taken from the island? Do you think it was blank? Do you think they still have those videos?

I also have a very hard time understanding a justification for releasing this to Twitter Posters. It hardly gives the perception of being transparent.
I don't know, and speculating is a fool's errand. I'm sure they have the videos - what they show I don't know. I don't get pleasure out of blindly speculating shit that's this heinous because all it will do is make me angry.

Well the media was his enemy for a long time. They lied about him on purpose with the intent to take him out.

Blind speculation is assuming whatever is on the tapes is going to be smoking gun evidence.
He meant the speculation of what is on the specific tapes. They could've been security tapes of only the outside. Which again, would lead you to believe someone is guilty, fully believe it. But still doesn't mean you can prove it.
They are setting the stage to blame the FBI for "erasing" the tapes if they don't have a smoking gun on them.

I think its a fair to speculate that the boxes of videos that came out of the rape room contained evidence of who was raping. That's just my spidey senses though. I know that is a HUGE leap.
Blind speculation would be, well blind. It would be a pure guess. And this is an informed guess.
