FBI raids Trump’s attorney’s office

For your information Trump is not my choice I'm a conservative. However it's stinks how the media has tried to railroad him since the first day he got in office. 24 /7

There is no doubt certain elements of “the media” have it in for trump. Let’s not pretend that conservative media gave Obama an easy time though. At least Obama had the balls to still do interviews with fox though.

The fact that trump labeled the media crooks and liars, and encouraged his followers at his campaign rallies to rough them up did not help. It also does not help that trump constantly lies about everything. He lies about shit that can be easily fact checked. And when he is caught in a lie he just doubles down.

Can both parties agree on this? If nothing is found now after this can they stop this and focus on this country and around the world? I say no and never will in my opinion.

They'll never do that. Half the country still believes Trump colluded with Russia, even though the only collusion with Russians occurred with Hillary=Fusion GPS=Michael Steele to produce bogus dossier. A dossier that Andrew McCabe, under oath, stated was the only way they could get a warrant to spy on the Trumpsters.FACT. Facts don't matter with people who have an agenda. This whole mess is not about Repubs vs Dems. This is between the Globalist and America First crowd. The Dark State is full of Globalist, dems and repubs.

If Trump fires Mueller that would almost instantaneously lead to a bipartisan backed impeachment. I promise you Trump knows better (or one would think) than to do that.

I don't believe a word of this.

Well I got my tax cuts. Maybe it’s time to move on to republican #2 to address the spending side.

I hate that your new schtich has become bragging in the majority of your posts about supposedly how wealthy you are.

I don't believe a word of this.

Republicans took to the Sunday shows apparently concerned about where that tweetstorm could be headed. “I mean, talking to my colleagues all along it was, you know, once he goes after Mueller, then we'll take action,” Sen. Jeff Flake said on CNN’s “State of the Union.” Sen. Lindsey Graham said Trump firing Mueller would “be the beginning of the end of his presidency.”

Glad you got yours, my gift from Trump will come in the form of about $800 in additional taxes. Just got to love reform.

Everyone, on both sides, knew what Trump was and he was still elected. Seems there are bigger issues than spending 100 million of our dollars to prove he got 130 grand piece of ass.

I'm a non-Trump conservative also. His quote tonight equating the raid as an attack on America is over the top even for him. He, nor his lawyers, equate to America. The country is far greater than any one man.

I don't know how much of this crap is real and how much is made for TV. However, I do think Trump always looks and acts like an insecure guilty 4 year old when confronted with any accusation.

If he really is innocent of all collusion / obstruction / campaign finance fraud, he should welcome an investigation. Instead he stonewalls, huffs and puffs, threatens, belittles and then fires people- not generally the tell tale signs of an innocent party welcoming the chance to clear his 'good' name.

Not to mention that the staff and cabinet he has assembled is making the mob look clean. Those that aren't guilty of a crime are incompetent or lack the self awareness to serve in a public role- at some point people start to associate the character of an individual with those in which he surrounds himself.

Graham has been so wishy washy on trump it's hard to tell. One minute he's bashing the guy and then the next he's best buds after golfing together.

Flake isn't running for reelection so he's able to speak his mind. For every example like him there are 5 other people like Tom cotton, Devin Nunes and Steve king ready to blame this on Hilary. Not to mention the tea party and these other reps from deep red States aren't going to leave him because they know who there base is.

This crap has been going on for both sides for over 20 years. Nothing different for him than for Obama, Bush or Clinton.

Doesn't have one thing to do with collusion because there never was collusion. They knew there was no collusion in the first place. The object is look until you find something. The special prosecutor ( and the 15 democrat hack lawyers he hired) are way over there boundaries and has been from the beginning. What a joke!

I bet you were angry - really angry - when the special prosecutor investigating Bill Clinton decided to bring perjury charges against the president for an affair with Monica Lewinsky in a case that was to focus on Whitewater. I mean, how dare that prosecutor look to other laws that were broken.

I'll get off FOX when you get off CNN.
I watch a variety of the channels. For example, today CNN was covering the the topic of this thread as was MSNBC while FOX was discussing Loretta Lynch. They always seem to be on top of all the breaking news. Tonight I'll tune in to hear about Hillary, Obama, and Benghazi ... you know the current news that helps them capture ratings. You would have thought Hillary won the election as much as they cover her. I will also hear about the liberal news media and how they are fake news and are out to destroy Trump. There is so much hate on FOX and so much propaganda, but I still watch it more than I do MSNBC.

The fact that Trump screwed a pornstar is not important. The fact that the pornstar was paid hush money within 2 weeks of the election is important. The fact that he has lied about it is just plain stupid. Trump and his lawyer told a lie that a third grader wouldn't believe. In doing so apparently Cohen acted in such a way that the FBI, Mueller, Rosenstein, and the federal attorney in NY, all republicans, convinced a federal judge there was probable cause that Cohen committed a crime.

FYI... Mueller has his own issues...like Fast and Furious. and Benghazi which were both put under him while he served. Nothing to see there
Crap I forgot Whitey Bolger... and the “ supposed anthrax attacker” who he bankrupted and chased for 5 years, who was innocent.

Mueller is a hack... and there are ton more on his team.

The fact that Trump had sex with a pornstar isn't an issue...

unless you are a member of the moral majority.
unless you are a social conservative who believes the morality of the president matters.
unless you care if your president is lying about his past indiscretions.
unless you care that he did all of this with multiple women--pornstar, playboy bunny--while his wife was pregnant.

If you don't care about this then you can't use personal morality as a measuring stick for leadership in this country. You can't be mad at Bill, Anthony Weiner, etc. etc. And that is a shame...

Or Al Franken, John Edwards, Ruben Kihuen, John Conyers, Bobby Scott, Tim Mahoney, Chris Lee, David Wu, etc. etc.

Also Mueller gave the info on alleged bank fraud and campaign finance to Rosenstein who then referred it to a TRUMP APPOINTEE Geoffrey Berman the Interim United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York.

It looks like the fire and subsequent raid had the desired effect. Creating a false flag just ahead of the IG report. Lynch is trying to get on record ahead of Comey's book. It's all tied together. The swamp rats are getting frantic. John Huber is quietly doing his business. I'm guessing the IG report will be the match that lights the fuse.

You don't believe in conspiracies do you?

No, I believe in facts. There is a trail of facts that the Congressional commitees have uncovered from Benghazi to Email server to Computer hacking to FISA warrants to FBI emails to Special Counsels to OIG investigation. But, it's like Trey Gowdy once told the press: Congress can uncover facts through Hearings, but Congress has no power to prosecute.

Example 1: We know from the Committee investigation that the Comey exoneration speech, given on 7/5/16 was written 5-6 weeks before Hillary was even "interviewed" by the FBI. It was written by McCabe, who changed some of the wording, (in his final draft), so as to not use legal ease that supports the fact that Hillary broke the law. These same players, Comey, McCabe, Strzock, etc are the same people who worked with Steele on using the dossier to obtain a FISA warrant. Strzok was even appointed to be on Muellers prosecution team. He was removed only after some of this info reached the light of day.
Example 2: I hear people asking why Comey would disclose that Hillary's email investigation was being re-opened just days before the election. The truth, as discovered in the Hearings, is the FBI knew about Huma and Weiners computer having these emails for 6 weeks before the announcement. Only when the NYPD confiscated the computer and the NY Post was going to run a story, did Comey decide he had to get ahead of the story to avoid the appearance of partiality.

To equate the payoff with a violation of election law is a stretch that is part of the witch hunt. I dont think it would ever win in court and even if it happens, its not a major violation. This entire charade is all leading toward Mueller issuing a report with vague charges that cant be proven but are speculated with the idea that if the democrats take the house and/or the senate in the midterms that it will give them the ammunition to impeach POTUS. This is a coup de tat played out over more than a year. A lot of republicans will be happy if this happens. Trump is the outsider taking on the establishment. Mueller by the way is a scumbag with lots of skeletons in his closet.

The problem with all of these theories is that we don't know yet what Mueller has discovered except we do know that he has gotten guilty pleas from Trump appointees, indicted 13 Russians. We also know he has enough evidence to put Manafort away for years or decades, including proof that Manafort offered campaign inside info to a Russian oligarch in exchange for forgiveness of a debt. That is serious and that was committed by a person chosen by Trump to be his campaign director. We also know that the FBI has probable cause to believe Cohen had possession of evidence of a crime. And the probable cause satisfied a republican attorney general, a republican assistant attorney general, a republican special prosecutor, a republican US attorney. When this is over I will bet it makes Watergate look like a walk in the park. Incidentally, when Bill Clinton was investigated, the head of the investigation was a self described republican operative, Kenneth Starr.

So who exactly has alleged bank fraud? Is having a signed NDA; supported by consideration, considered bank fraud?

You're right about one thing for sure. This will make Watergate look like a walk in the park. Probably not in the way you think it will. So, does the fact that Obama appointed John Huber to his position of District US Atty make you feel better?

It's a problem of his own making, if the idiot would get off twitter for 15 minutes and not keep shoveling ammo at the press it would help.

What crime did Obama commit?
I won't say it's criminal but Obama really screwed the country over with his decisions not the reign in the NSA.

That said, here in 2018 I don't know what to think about the future of privacy anymore anyway.

How do you know there was no collusion? Because FoxNews and Trump told you so?

Trump and his staff have lied EVERY STEP OF THE WAY in this investigation. Remember when Trump told us his staff had no meetings with the Russians at all? Remember when Trump told us he didn't have anyone in Russia to call to even talk to (all the while he was negotiating for a Trump Tower in Moscow). The NYT and Washington Post broke the stories of multiple meeting with multiple staff members, the White House called it fake news (remember?) THEN the staffer emails were released showing that these meetings actually did occur. Remember Don Jr. telling us his meetings were about Americans adopting Russian Babies (that was a press release from Air Force One). Then Don Jr's emails got released where he said he was going to get dirt on Hillary? Remember that?

Now we get. THERE WAS NO COLLUSION. IT'S A WITCH HUNT! Honestly, I have no idea whether there was or not. I don't believe that there is just b/c some left leaning news outlet or Nancy Pelosi told me so, that's for sure. But I know damn well you can't believe a word that comes out of Trump's mouth or the White House. Let Mueller do his job.

Mueller has been a Republican (and Democratic) darling for years. As I've mentioned before, he was unanimously confirmed by the senate under George W. He served his entire 10 year term as head of the FBI (under a Democratic President part of that time) and Trump himself had him short listed to head the FBI again. But now that he's investigating Trump, people saying what a bad person he REALLY is. Isn't that odd?

Can both parties agree on this? If nothing is found now after this can they stop this and focus on this country and around the world? I say no and never will in my opinion.

I know that I can. I trust Mueller to get the job done. If he says there's no collusion, that's absolutely good enough for me and you'll never hear another word about it out of me.

Isn't that odd?
I know you aren't actually asking the question but this is exactly how you know if someone is Republican by principal or by blind tribalism. Both sides have them to be sure, but Trump's election has made it clear which ones would end up with swastikas on their arm in a different time and place and this board has more than a few.

In the 80's the Republicans were the party of Globalism, but these idiots aren't paying attention to history or facts. They are listening to political shock jocks for a cheap dopamine hit.

I love to see the evangelicals that were so high and mighty about Clinton banging some intern defend Trump. Honestly, I think some of them have replaced Jesus in their hearts with Trump. Trump can do ANYTHING and these folks will defend him. My cousin in law is a Baptist minister and HUGE conservative. During Obama's reelection when the Republican's were trying to find their candidate, he posted how he could never vote for Romney because he wasn't a "real" christian and that the LDS church was a cult (this was actually on Billy Graham's website at the time). But when Romney won the nomination, he was a HUGE supporter (even though Obama had been going to the same Christian church for like 20 years)..

Personally, I didn't care who Clinton banged, nor do I care who Trump banged.

What I find odd is that people were saying what a great guy Mueller was; from the beginning. He's botched every major case where he's been in charge in his entire career; whether at the FBI or DOJ. Again, I'll say this is not dem vs repub. It's deep state, globalist vs America First people. There were and still are many globalist, never trumpers that are a part of this internal war of sorts.
What I also find odd, is this idea that Don Jr somehow is guilty of collusion because someone sets up a meeting with him stating that a Russian lawyer, lobbyist is gonna share dirt on Hillary. That's not collusion. But, when Hillary and the DNC hires a law firm to hire Fusion GPS to hire a foreign entity, Michael Steele, who then pays for supposed dirt on Trump, from Russians...well that just seems to be hunky dory. Not to mention that same dirt is never verified and ultimately proven to be untrue, yet it was used to obtain a FISA warrant to spy on US citizens. Again, hunky dory.

Well, there is a small difference in the bangings. Clinton was doing a 21 year old intern in the Oval office. Trump banged a slut 12 years ago when he was a private citizen. Not condoning either. Yet the fake dossier stuff about Trump with Russian whores was important because he could be a blackmail target, but Bill slamming a 21 in the Oval office doesn't open him up to blackmail?

COHEN.

Maybe--If he lied to a bank. When you refinance your home, you can't lie to the bank about what you are using the money for. That is a crime. That is bank fraud.

He could've lied when he opened the specific business account and falsified to the bank what it was going to be used for or if he lied to the bank if they contacted him about the unusually large payment he made through their own due diligence and he lied about it. Just some possibilities...

Also on the warrant are wire fraud and campaign finance potential crimes. There was probable cause here--sorry Trumpers...no conspiracy theories to invent (although I'm sure you will...)

If it's wrong, it's wrong. Again, you're talking to a dude that's only been with one women for the last 26 years or so go figure.

IMHO, it's between the person and their spouse. From a pragmatic point of view, if you are the leader of the free world (or a multi Billionare) and you can't bang a (willing) intern or porn star on your desk at work then what the hell does true power even mean?
