A couple of notes that I thought about while watching for the 2nd time...

- Ray Ray and Deon had limited touches but we very good when they did. Ray Ray is so quick and needs to touch the ball 4-5 times against ND. Deon is so smooth and IMO should start taking snaps away from Peake. I would probably move Peake back to his original position.

- Gallman ran extremely well. I was surprised at the power he runs with and the ability to move a pile.

- We only ran the jet sweep once and it went for 7 yards in the 3rd qtr. We ran the formation with Scott in motion, but faked the pitch each time. It looked to me like the opportunity was there for Scott to have 1 on 1 with a DB if the pitch was made.

-Tankersley really played well in the 2nd half after getting picked on in the first half.

- I thought Maverick Morris played very well the small opportunity that he played. I would like to see him get to play a little more guard as the season goes on. He substituted in for Crowder for a few plays and did well.

- On the skipped pass to Leggett at the end of the game, Watson had time to make the throw. It looked like Watson was so surprised at the blown coverage and Leggett was so wide open for the first down that he threw it as quick as he could and didn't step into the throw.

- I can't believe the block in the back against Fuller wasn't called on the KO return for TD. It looked like that was the gap that the returner took and Fuller was laying face down after getting blocked in the back.

- The sack by Dodd at the end of the game was the biggest play of the game. That one play caused so much panic and confusion for UL that they didn't know what to do. That was a 2nd down play and the sack happened with about 20 or so seconds left. IMO, UL should have spiked the ball quickly and either tried to run a quick out route for a first down or try the long field goal. I think the announcers said that the kicker had made one from 52, even though he missed from 38 earlier. That was a big mistake by UL in my opinion.

- The other big mistake by UL or Petrino was the timeout issue at the end of the first half. Petrino also had some timeout issues in the first game against Auburn.

- And lastly, that 3rd and 6 run by Watson to seal the game that was stopped a half yard short would have been successful if Maclain would have stayed with his block. Watson got through the line and Maclain stopped blocking. His man ended up assisting on the tackle that stopped short of the first down marker. I believe Watson would have gotten the first down because the 1 UL defender wouldn't have been able to make that tackle alone behind the first down. IMO, without the help of another defender, Watson would have been able to gain the extra half yard.
