"As much as it pains me to say it, until some rules are established and the playing field somewhat leveled, I don't see how we can compete with the top 10 or so programs that can raise the millions of dollars it takes to be successful at a high level."
Paul's words...
Clemson has solid resources and uses them. No one's complaining in that regard.
But it's also unreasonable to think the Tigers have a top-10 budget, and there are only a handful of schools with the funds to pay that many players top dollar.
