In an interesting “deep dive” by The Athletic, Clemson and the ACC rated high in the development of highly recruited football players. They used being drafted by the NFL as the outcome indicating “development”. Clemson ranked 2nd in the % of 5* who were drafted and 9th in the % of 4* who were drafted. The ACC ranked 1st in both the % of 5* and 4* drafted and 2nd in the % of 3* drafted.
