THIS, you liberal snowflakes is why you should watch FoxNews. Yes, they have a huge conservative bias, but they've also got some reporters that are as good as anyone in the business. Shep Smith is the man, but Ed Henry is the shiit too.

Henry absolutely grilled the EPA director a couple of days ago, pulling NO punches. Pruitt looked like a deer in headlights and his answers to the tough questions sounded like total bullshiit. Kudos to FoxNews for uncovering the crap this guy is doing behind the scenes... specifically giving a couple of long time assistants HUGE raises on the taxpayer's dime. Specifically, a $50K plus raise to one and almost $30 to another. Henry got Pruitt to say that he didn't have anything to do with the raises and that he was stopping them. Fake News?

Then the Washington Post (more Fake News, obviously) follows up with proof that Pruitt was the one who pushed for the raises. Apparently at least 5 senior staffers at the EPA have been put on administrative leave or reassigned for questioning Pruitt's spending habits and directives, including a couple of Trump hires. Sounds like this guy is off the reservation for sure.

FoxNews bringing the HEAT!

My news source is better than this crap.

I'm not going to tell you the exact sites, but ive figured out the right mix and I don't want them to become mainstream.

He should just admit he messed up and move on. If you like this administration's agenda, then you should like the job he's done. It also seems likely that the media was highly interested in finding faults with him.

If you have good news sources and you "keep them to yourself" for the purpose of them not going mainstream you're doing the company and your community a disservice.

Even though I am a republican, I certainly am not a Trump supporter and did not vote for the egotistical narcissist, but CNN News is forcing me to take up for the guy and even like him a little do to their continual bias reporting on him. I have never seen this much biased and prejudice in news reporting in the history of news-casting. CNN News has some of the biggest mouth foaming haters ever seen in the business.

I believe CNN News had two mud narratives ready to sling on the EPA Chief when Trump responded. First if Trump would of responded negatively they were set to attack Trump for not having the guys back, secondly if he responded positively by supporting the guy, CNN was ready to launch an attack condemning Trump for supporting a crook who was stealing tax payers money.

I still remember about a couple of weeks ago when I had heard that the Texas mail bomber had been caught or killed the evening/night before, I went to turn CNN News on (Sling TV does not have Fox News!) and they had 4 'Breaking New' stories. So as I sat down to watch, every one was about Trump, whether it was regarding the whore porn star, immigration, trade, etc. but no news on the Texas bomber. I had to get on the computer and 'Google' it to find out what had happened. CNN News is an absolute farce with attacking everything regarding Trump, his family, his administration, and his supporters, and they are not pulling punches either. I wish someone would infiltrate undercover their company, and hack their e-mails, so that the world can see have ugly they have become.

My biggest issue with uninformed voters let alone stupid people in general is not being able to differentiate between news journalism and shock jocks opinionated loudmouths. Shep Smith and Chris Wallace are professional journalist that report facts and give sound reasoning. Sean Hannity is an opinionated hack that should never ever be confused with a news journalist.

You can go through CNN, MSNBC or whoever you want and easily differentiate the difference.

NO. He intentionally hooked up his folks on the taxpayer's dime, and punished people for pointing it out. That's not draining the swamp, that's criminal behavior. And the fact that he's doing some things that Trump (and you) like does not excuse him from breaking the law. This isn't some small time screw up, this is intentional corruption of the system by a guy in position of power who should (and does... else why the lying about it) know better.

Now, I'll admit that I'm no fan of his. I can remember back in the 70s when upstate NY farmer's crops were getting burned by acid rain caused by coal plants in the mid west. I can also remember the pollution these plants dumped into the rivers b/c no one was watching. Cancer is a nasty thing to give to kids, but that was what was going on. I think that the head of the Environmental Protection Agency should you know, be a champion for the environment. He or she should be raising hell about deregulation. It's the President's job to reign that in and provide reasonable direction for the agency.

No dog in this fight as I think all cable news sources are trash

They are because they are fighting after a shrinking piece of pie and everyone is getting more willing to disregard the truth in pursuit of ratings.

I can get better, more accurate, news on YouTube now. The key is still to diversify your news sources. The only way to discern the truth is to build up it's image from the consistent pieces of information that overlap from different sources.

There's a reason Fox News has been #1 forever. It's because the rest are fake news, resistance propaganda for the leftist, commie, pinko sleaze.

Nope. Just b/c you don't like it, doesn't make it fake. There are some ass clowns on FoxNews AND on the other sites (Hannity and Madow both spring to mind). But there are some folks working for the Washington Post and NY Times that are damn fine reporters as well. Remember them breaking stories about all the meetings between Trump's staff and the Russians? Remember Trumps calling all those reports of the meetings Fake News? Any yet every damn one turned out to be true. That's good investigative journalism and exactly what a free press is supposed to do.

I'm not denying that the NYT and Washington Post are biased. They clearly are IMHO (just like FoxNews is biased the other way). But just as FoxNews covers issues that the liberal media gloss over, the same can be said on the other side. The left leaning sites cover issues that FoxNews doesn't touch. I listen to both sides and then decide for myself.

Dilly, Dilly!!

It's not hard to separate the hacks from the real reporters and both sides have plenty of each.

When I watch the news it is almost exclusively msnbc. For reasons such as this:

I am a liberal and I think Fox News is now basically State Run TV for the right wing just like whats available in North Korea. I do not know much about Ed Henry other than the EPA interview. I can vouch for Shep Smith. He is the man. I trust he is always telling me the truth. Google YouTube Sheppard Smith Uranium One. Watch that, nuf said.

TRump has trolled OP to Bolivia and back 100 times.

Whatever man. Maybe that's so. Personally I'd like to think that the President of the US has better things to do than Troll US citizens. I'd like to think that the President should be leading the free world by being a serious voice for stability and world order. So Trump has Trolled me and most of the world doesn't believe a word that comes out of his mouth (because he's a notorious liar). Sounds like the right guy for the job.

The weird thing is the implication that somehow trolling people means he is "good" or "smart" or .... I don't know, has some Alpha male quality.

I like Nicole Wallace. She generally tells it like it is. I can tell she's liberal, but she tries to keep things fair. Her choice in guests that she interviews leaves something to be desired though... they are sometimes over the edge left leaning.

If any of y'all have had to deal with the EPA as much as I have... You would realize a lot of it it's just a total Money grab. I hope that they cut the EPA Back some

CNN clearly is the most accurate and truthful of all news networks. They focus on real issues like missing airplanes, Russia conspiracy and hot steamy TMZ drama with stormy Daniels. These are the real issues people want to hear about. LOLOL

Isn't that standard for government ran entities?

By the way, this is a pretty good discussion. Thanks to all for keeping it mostly civil. As the man Reagan said: when a man agrees with you 60-70% of the time, that man is your friend, not your enemy. We need to keep those words in mind...

People stopped listening after your first four words.

So far CNN, MSNBC and other main stream media have been spot on the last 2 years on Russia collusion. All day and all night. Collusion is there. You can see it guys!! Keep looking!!!

I am not denying that they all report in a certain bias way, Fox News as well, but what I am saying is that CNN News is taking it to a whole different level. I do not recall FOX News attacking family members like they do, and all the late night shows adds too it. Fox News at least reports on other stories.

Maybe once they get the leaker(s) in the Trump administration it will bring CNN down a level too.

As bad and stupid as it is for Trump with his affairs, that is between he and his wife, as he was not in office. Bill Clinton had his sexual misconduct while in office. I remember back then that CNN view this as no big deal after denying it ever happened for a while. Eventually the narrative against Monika to the point that she is no longer the victim but Bill Clinton was the victim.

This x1000. Exactly what I've been telling people who get their news from just one single source, especially if it is cable news.

For the most part, I don't believe news outlets intentionally lie to you, they only tell you the facts that fit their narrative, and leave out the ones that don't. It's only after reading/viewing multiple narratives that you can piece together for yourself what the real truth is.

Isn't that standard for government ran entities?

Unfortunately, it is. I'm absolutely sure that there's a bunch of fat that can be cut out of the EPA (just like most government agencies). I'm also absolutely sure that the EPA performs a vital service for us all. Businesses are there to make money and provide services. They can't be expected to police themselves as running a clean operation is ALWAYS more expensive than just dumping stuff wherever. So there have to be regulations in place, but these regulations shouldn't be so draconian that they get in the way of letting businesses run successfully.

I fully believe that there is a "sweet spot" there somewhere that allows for a clean environment AND profitable business.

Just ask yourself if Obama had come close to the crap Trump has pulled, would it be the same coverage? Would he even be in office still?

The president porked his 2nd wife while married to the 1st then then did the same with the 2nd and then porks a porn star while wife 3 is pregnant. You're gonna sit there and tell me that this story is too overhyped? GTFO

I am not posting about Fox but I am posting about the ridiculous abuse of power by almost all these clowns regardless of party. It never ceases to amaze that people don't look up and see that a majority of the 10-15 richest counties in America ring Washington DC. We spend massive amounts of money and get very little for it. Our leaders are so corrupt and so dishonest. We should be throwing all these jackasses out of power. Our intended system of government would work great. What we've turned it into is a bloated disaster for the people. It should be purged from our society. Now I feel better. :)

Russia collusion !!!!! Bwhahahaha

Too much FoxNews for you. Remember when we were told by Trump himself that his staff had no meetings with the Russians? Remember when Trump told us that he hadn't spoken with the Russians and had no one to call (and all the while he was negotiating for a Trump Tower in Moscow)? These things were clearly lies, but do not prove collusion in any way.

Look, I have no idea whether there was collusion or not. None. But anyone who thinks there is no collusion just b/c Trump tweets that there's no collusion is not thinking things through. Trump lies all the time. Trump tells the truth all the time as well. What comes out of his mouth is whatever he perceives to be best for him at the time. I have no doubt that if he colluded with Russia, he would ABSOLUTELY deny it. If he didn't collude with Russia he would ABSOLUTELY deny it. That's why we have a special council to run down the truth.

Mueller is one bad ass law man. In this day and age, you don't find many like him. He was nominated by a Republican President (George W) to be head of the FBI. He was unanimously confirmed in the Senate (98-0, with 2 Senators absent for the vote). He served out Bush's two terms and finished his 10 year appointment under Obama with no problems. Before he was appointed special council, Trump had him on the short list to be the director of the FBI again. He's a registered Republican, but he's put some obvious liberals on his investigative team as well. Based on his record, I trust him to do the right thing. If he says there's no collusion, I believe him. End of story.
