Very brief blurb from an ESPN Insider article-

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A number of top prospects attended the Nike regional camp in Charlotte Saturday. With prospects from the states of North Carolina, Virginia, Georgia, Florida and Texas on hand, there were a number of recruiting trends that have come to the forefront or are continuing in the class of 2016. Here are five worthy of mention:

Clemson in the Tar Heel state

Clemson’s success in North Carolina is to be placed in the continuing trend category. The Tigers have enjoyed impressive success in the Tar Heel state in recent years averaging nearly four signees per class, including six ESPN 300 prospects in the past four classes. In 2016, four-star offensive lineman Sean Pollard is in the fold along with receiver Cornell Powell. Clemson has a number of targets left on the board in the talent-rich state, including No. 54 Dexter Lawrence, No. 90 and Tennessee commit Marquill Osborne (offered Sunday) and No. 122 Diondre Overton. Though Lawrence is a long shot, the Tigers are within striking distance on Osborne and Overton.
