I thought it was very odd for all of these schools to have Open Dates this early and the same weekend.
The Miami/Clemson is intriguing to me as it would have been perfect IMO to get back on the horse in 9 days and play a quality opponent. The Miami game where it is now would have been a nice mid season break.
Miami would be following up a Nebraska home game with a Clemson home game then a short week Cincy, so what.
My initial thought is they didn't want to have it on the same weekend as NFL but the Dolphins play the next day after our game.
