Anyone have any home remedies for COVID after being vaxxed and boosted? Mainly dealing with congestion and headaches (ibuprofen does help that) but wanted to see if anyone has any other remedies they have found to be useful against the virus. I have it and my Mom who’s 56 has it as well. Thanks in advance.

Fluids and rest

My bout was short as to fever but nasal drip headaches congestion in throat lasted about 3 weeks after 3 days of bed rest then 3 days cold sweats even as I walked around

so about feeling off about a month

doing much better now

70 YO so I was lucky

All the vaccinations did nothing to keep me from catching Covid

Can only believe it kept it from being severe

I don’t know how remedies would differ for a vaxxed vs unvaxxed person, but I did Advil, Claritin D, water, plenty of vitamins - C, D, zinc, etc. I felt bad for about 36 hours and then some lingering congestion. My 6 year old was better in 24 hours.

The only thing different for me from a cold was the headache/fever was a little more for about a day and a half and congestion was less. So basically do whatever you would do if you get the cold/flu, because that’s what modern COVID is.

I had covid about 4 weeks ago . Not home remedies but the antiviral meds the doctor prescribed worked great for me . The meds cleared up my congestion in about 2 days. Plus I take zinc and D-3 daily.

lots of fluid and ibuprofen

don't bother taking dayquil/nyquil/etc none of that shit worked for me. ibuprofen is all i needed to feel better

I’m with you, just tested positive yesterday and I’m vaccinated. No doubt that is helping keep my symptoms mild. I have sinus infection symptoms but nothing else.

Listening to everyone around me I am now concluding the vaccine at this point is worthless

Just treat it like a common cold and flu is much worse

so it’s now a mainstream permanent disease
I’m pretty sure the vaccine is why my symptoms are mild cause I have heart disease and few things that put me at higher risk. Also I’m in healthcare sales and this is my first bout with it. I’m sure being vaccinated helped me there also.

Pretty sure those "around you" know more than the scientists. SMH

You are making assumptions on the education skills knowledge and professional status of those around me

Know the answer before you ask the question

I trust those around me much more than the control freaks in many offices in government

There are many good people in government

You have to strip out the power and control freaks and go with the good guys

I probably need to clarify my statement on the vaccine is worthless

it may have some value in mitigating the severity when you contact the disease

The problem with that at the moment is that it is speculation and not fact

getting the vaccine may be a good preventative measure but again I have seen no research confirming it

I do have some family who refused to get vaccinated and to my knowledge they never or sick or had severe cases

at this moment I am a little concerned about the need and side effects as I am seeing many suspected

Pretty sure I had Delta last Sept, OP. Felt like complete hell for almost 3 days then got on this regimen(Quercetin + zinc etc)and was back up and going within 24 hours

Wish I would have started it sooner as I lost all taste and smell for months, and some things still don’t taste or smell the same

eidt: Pretty sure I still have all the supplements. If you’re local to the Greenville area I’d be more than happy to drop them off for you somewhere. I know Quercetin was hard to come by at one point
