The Furman KA chapter had two parties I think before school started. That resulted in the first 63 tests they took in August of which 29 were positive. They quarantined 74 people and revoked the KA charter (Furman did away with Fraternity Houses last year but KA still kept theirs and had the parties in violation of that rule and COVID precautions). Interesting that after that initial crackdown, they basically decided to test the whole campus and with the fear of God in everyone, only got 12 positives.
This seems to be the pattern a lot of places. Everyone shows up and parties, lot of cases pop, everyone decides that is bad and maybe they should follow the rules and the caseload goes down. Easier to do that in a smaller school like FU I guess.
