Brendan Nosovitch QB is transferring now. Not that he wasn't going to continue to waste his career there anyway if he stayed, but that team is a cluster waiting to happen. I'll be utterly stunned if spurrier can win 7 games with that collection of underwhelming talent.
Who on earth is supposed to carry that offense? Their run game? Their OL? Good gracious I hope Simpson considers that Elliot may not actually be there to get on him after another season of curb-stomping, embarrassment losses pile up. Zack Bailey bought into it and there's a chance the negative recruiter Elliot is could win out based on how Simpson admits he grew up a fan there. Reminds me more of a situation like Philip Dukes at DT where such promise as a 4-star has led to what after 4yrs? A few plays here and there, a lot of bench warming, and virtual irrelevance entering his final year.
At least Nosovitch had experience of some sort and could resemble a QB in a pinch. The odds Connor Mitch makes it through the season without injury is almost zero IMHO. Then what? The Pharaoh Cooper experiment? Good luck with that. At least they have all those WR's and a stout defense --- no wait, that's not there either. Going to be brutal for spurrier again I believe. Simply brutal.
