It's been a while since I have been on but wanted to share something with you all.
Our Creekview High School (Canton, GA) team played Dalton High School this past Friday night... We ended up losing 28-21.
When the Dalton team arrived and I immediately noticed one of the coaches in a wheelchair. He noticed I was wearing my Clemson hoodie/jacket and said "you guys have a heck of a game tomorrow night" which was the start of a nice conversation between us... He then shared that his son used to be a GA at Clemson and eventually an OC... It was Bill Napier. He spoke kindly of Dabo and I took the opportunity to let him know to tell Billy that we appreciated his time at Clemson. He shared that he was diagnosed with ALS in 2013.
On another note... I had no idea that our QB was committed to play Baseball at Clemson. Kyle Wilkie is a catcher on our baseball team and starting QB... Very nice young man. He told me a few weeks ago "it just feels like home... I love it there."
