Or in Sri Lankas case...die. In 2021 Sri Lanka made organic farming mandatory. It didn't work out. They've since rescinded that edict and are reimbursing farmers with inflating currency that is worth roughly 10% of their prior years loss. While I'm not opposed to alternative energy and resourse use, draconian measures like this actually kill peole. They will all soon own nothing and be happy.
