the total lack of national interest/media coverage of the 150th anniversary of the end of the Civil War?? 150 years ago today Lee was leaving the trenches of Petersburg on his way to what would be his ultimate surrender. In only a week will be the 150th anniversary of Appomattox.
Not a whiff of coverage or mention in the media or on the news. Granted (no pun intended) there'll be coverage of Lincolns assassination, but I find it a little odd that no one seems to care about one of the most defining events of our nations history.
I guess we're too wrapped up in the rights of LBGT folks to have a wedding cake.
