We toured Makers Mark today. Because of Bourbon Festival our tour time was longer than usual. While waiting in gift shop for our tour, we talked to a gentlemen from KY. He was non other than Bill Samuels Jr., CEO Emeritus of Makers. Apparently he served a short tenure on our board when Jim Barker was searching the possibility of taking Clemson private. When he found out the tours were running late he took my wife and two friends on a behind the scenes personalized tour of MM.
