Late in the 2nd quarter about the 6 minute mark Notre Dame had a 3rd and 3(or 4) and then the right tackle jumps........ making it 3rd and 8 from their 35 yard line.
The next play is where the left tackle/guard tackle Lawson and are called for holding..... foul occurred at ND's 27(behind the LOS)....... which should be 10 yard penalty from the previous spot, bringing up a 3rd and 18 from their 25......... but it was actually a 3rd and 13 from their 30 yard line.
I can't believe they missed this........ or am I missing something?
I mean we stopped them on the next play so clearly it didn't mean anything but I'm shocked that the referees made an obvious 5 yard blunder in a game of this magnitude, and nobody caught it?
