Please answer the questions. Put it in black and white. What are the numbers? How many deaths have there been of kids in school shootings vs deaths of children from overdose? How many deaths from "assault" weapons vs overdose?
So you are going from kids killed in school shootings to all types deaths from all types of guns. That is not just moving the goal posts, but an entirely different discussion - also typical for you when you realize how stupid your original argument was.
So what is your solution to that problem? Do you think dem DA's refusing to prosecute gun possession charges is helping? Also, I would be willing to bet a large portion of those "child" deaths are gang/drug related.

No, I’m arguing for more guns, obviously. More guns will help protect those kids you care so much about. At least that’s what the gun experts on here tell me. I always wonder when we will hit the critical mass of guns where they will actually start protecting people rather than just killing children though. Maybe when we’re at 3 guns per person in the US?
