Wow. What a win for Biden. The greatest infrastructure bill in our country's history will be signed into law this week. They said it could not be done, but Biden managed to put the bipartisan bill on his back and push it through congress, something that his predecessor failed to do for four years.

And a huge shout out to those republicans that voted for the bill. It took guts to place country over party. Now they are facing "being cancelled" by their own party while also receiving death threats from MAGA mouth breathers. I hope they are able to withstand the attacks and derision.

This is a win for America that we should all be celebrating.

Ironically, Republicans in the Senate gave him what should've been a victory 3 months ago. It was his own party in the House that failed to deliver until this week. The Congressional Progressive Caucus is playing political games much like the Tea Party did a decade ago.

Most Americans had no issue with a strict physical infrastructure bill, especially one supported 69-30 in the Senate. Wonder what the vote in the House would've looked like back in August before it got real politicized by both sides?

Yeah, I mean.......I for one can't wait for the tree equity or the removal of the racist overpasses. Historic indeed

Yes. I have said the same thing before, the progressives are taking a very similar approach as the tea party did. This was a tough slog for Biden because the progressives wanted the larger climate / social bill voted on before they would vote for this one. Everyone trying to use what leverage they had. And of course Trump was threatening repubs who voted for the bill from Mar-a-lago. I don't think his ego could handle Biden essentially the same bill that he failed to pass.

Absolutely. I had no idea how racist our roads were. Infrastructure bill no. This is a victory for social justice.

Poops doesn't even remember that he signed it by now or what it is.

Well, I don't know if the overpasses out here in Idaho are racist or not. There could even be some Woke Dams on the Snake river for all I know. I do know that they could all use some work on them before they fall down. So probably a good thing that the bill got passed.

It's a wasteful boondoggle filled with corruption and political handouts. Nothing good for America about that when we have such terrible inflation concerns.

Infrastructure is largely a state issue. This bill is designed to bail out all the horribly run states who just can't quit spending poorly. Not a win!

Doubling down, I see

Here's good old Jenn P admitting that they are in favor of the higher gas prices as it helps them justify the forced move to EV's......

And some of ya'll still think they care about the people? Those lower wage earners they claim to be here to protect will all be collateral damage this winter.

Looks like you've taken quite a bit of liberty with her words. Me thinks you should re-read what she said.

As predicted, republicans who voted against the infrastructure bill are now trying to take credit for it in their home districts. Sad!
