Any chance NC State could fill in for a team in one of the games on Friday or Saturday if there is more chaos?
When is the last time prior to 2020 that a game has been cancelled because a position group is sick?If the whole position group has it, how exactly do you want them to play the game?
We have never tested asymptomatic players ever. When is the last time prior to 2020 that a game has been cancelled because a position group is sick?
I highly doubt the whole position group is sick. They just didn't want to play, and should be financially punished.
YepThey don't track Flu deaths in the same manner as COVID. If they have the flu and die of a heart attack they list the death as the cause being from the heart attack. Die from a heart attack while positive for COVID and you died from complications caused by COVID. Not Apples to Apples....
Can’t watch when they aren’t playing. That’s my take on his comment. You're softer than Charmin if you stop watching football due to a pandemic. Just sayin.
No. He’s not a puss though. He’d play Will Swinney at DT if he had to in order to play. He understands there is more to the big picture than one lossDabo wouldn’t cancel if we had 4 defensive lineman out
It means to decrease by 1/10th. so in actuality, it shouldnt lead to not being able to play the game.
Certainly it shouldn’t. But I can think of a group of 6 or 7 players that if taken out I would want us to cancel. So we wouldn’t have a blowout loss.
Or “vaccinated “Overuse of the word “decimated” triggers me almost as much as overuse of the word “literally.”
Really? If a player is symptomatic at the bowl site they test. Through contact tracing I'm sure other DL were tested. Also asymptomatic and PREsymptomatic are different things. Just because you're asymptomatic doesn't mean you will not eventually have symptoms.
Well Dave your record says 9 wins you dickhead.
Decade. 10 years still?Couple of more Decades men will not exist only Nancy's and Karen's.
This varient has a survival rate of well over 99%. I think the hospitalzation rate is 1%97% survival rate.
50k annual deaths due to influenza vs 750K for Covid-19 in the US.
I do agree that it’s time to move forward though. With vaccination rate, we’re inching closer and closer to the endemic stage.
And why do you think that is?This varient has a survival rate of well over 99%. I think the hospitalzation rate is 1%
Sounds convenient.I thought with all the restrictions in California, it was impossible to get COVID.
These guys don’t have COVID 19. They have a form for the coronavirus. Big difference.
At this point, saying “safety first” is a BS cop out. This isn’t about safety. It’s about appearances only.
If all of UCLAs DLineman tore their ACLs they morning of game day, could they cancel the game? I think not. Man up and play with what you have or forfeit.
By the old literal definition, yes.Couple = 2 so 20 years?
So, basically, that’s half the ACC bowl games. And this would’ve been a fun one. Probably cost NC State a chance at a top 15 finish.
I'm fully vaccinated. My wife is fully vaccinated. My mother is fully vaccinated. Everyone in my family is vaccinated. Did I say anything negative about vaccines? And why do you think that is?
I’ll tell ya- vaccines
Couldn’t have happened to a nicer asshole and fanbaseThe fact Dave Doeren had to fly his sorry ass cross country for his game to be cancelled 24 hours before kickoff has just made this bowl season resounding success in my book
Remember when Cliff Ellis played against Duke with 4 players due to suspensions and players fouling out?Well Dave your record says 9 wins you dickhead.
i know…this was a jerk move by UCLA but i hate NCSU so i struggle to feel bad for themThat makes it even better 🤣
Fortunately causing everyone to awake from the covid propaganda. All you can do is laugh at this point.
Below age 65 99.9% survival rate.97% survival rate.
50k annual deaths due to influenza vs 750K for Covid-19 in the US.
I do agree that it’s time to move forward though. With vaccination rate, we’re inching closer and closer to the endemic stage.
We have 700K excess deaths. Average age of COVID death - 80 and average age of all deaths is 79.5. This means that 30-40% of deaths would have happened anyway in the next year. Also ...Yep
how many of the 750K died from Covid and how many died WITH Covid. Thats a number that should have been separated.
Play both ways. Iron man. Doesn’t stop 1A and some 2A high schools. If the whole position group has it, how exactly do you want them to play the game?
Pretty sure that was Rick Barnes against UNC. Maybe it happened to Ellis too. I don't know.Remember when Cliff Ellis played against Duke with 4 players due to suspensions and players fouling out?
No shit. That and viruses have to morph as to not kill the host. And why do you think that is?
I’ll tell ya- vaccines
It definitely happened to Cliff Ellis. Zero doubt.Pretty sure that was Rick Barnes against UNC. Maybe it happened to Ellis too. I don't know.
