Hotel prices for games?

Never stayed in one. Someone told me next week vs app st the going rate is $400 per night. SERIOUSLY? He was excited to only pay $200 this weekend....without a two night minimum.

Can this $400 a night be true? Is there usually a two night minimum?

Glad I have other options!
