every freakin' year. It seems like they usually have a "game manager" type QB, one that doesn't turn it over much, but doesn't make many spectacular plays either. Maybe that's the way Saban wants it. Have an outstanding defense, decent special teams, but let your offense do just enough to win.
But with the way they recruit every year, it seems like they could get just about any QB they would want. You just about have to go back to the days of Namath/Stabler in order to find that electric QB that ran their offense.
Stupid of me to wonder since all they do is win, win and win some more. But the 2 guys they have this year don't even appear to be good "game managers". Just curious as to where that game changer is for that great of a program.
