Maybe the first point I agree with you on. Don’t try this troll on jeopardy though. But wheel of fortune sucks and is overrated
A better question to me is: who sits in front of a TV and watches any syndicated show at 630 PM?

To be clear, I don't give two shits about anything on TV, (including Game of Thrones) but if I'm watching a game show, you can bet your ass it's Jeopardy.

Used to like Password, What’s My Line, and To Tell The Truth. But I was 8.
In and just after college it was The Gong Show. Kind of a cult. But we liked JP Morgan.
It's amazing that we grew up watching South Park and Family Guy but are extremely politically correct and seem to get our feelings hurt much easier than in the past.
No stress job and no stress for resources is a hell of a miracle elixir.
If in town my 89 year old mother eats dinner (supper) with us and stays over and watches wheel of fortune and jeopardy before taking her home Wife myself laugh and ask how many shows out there that some younger people some in their 20s 30s 40s ..... 80s and 90s enjoy (or can tolerate)

To ask why it's still on is not only dumb......because it makes money and people watch it.....

This is really the other main reason why I back Wheel of Fortune. In a town like Hollywood where they throw people out like the trash the moment they get a couple of wrinkles, it's refreshing to see that Vanna is still going strong and turning letters in her 60's. She still looks great too. Both her and Sajak recognize how fortunate they are to have a job like that and neither seems to take it for granted. In a town like Hollywood, it's nice to see that these days.
If you give me the choice of watching Wheel of Fortune and the national news, I'm picking Wheel 10 times out of 10.

Last prime time weekly series I watched regularly were MASH and original cast of SNL. TV is a wasteland for dumb people getting dumber.
It’s literally hypnotic so some people watch it to zone out but for me that’s what sleep is for. I will watch a few things once in a while like Life Below Zero or something I’m actually involved in myself to learn about but it always gets stale pretty quick. Life is for living to me, I’d much rather do something than watch just about anything especially when there’s massive commercial breaks as well. Honestly when I used to attend Clemson games I’d often leave during a blow out win as I’d start thinking by about something I could be doing myself instead. Idk that’s just me I guess.
