Does Clemson win the NC last year?

I don't really like these types of questions, if if's and but's were candy and nuts…, but this thought has been on my mind a good bit lately. I don't think Bryant alone would have been enough to win all the games we lost last season, but Sammy alone could have been and both of them makes it all but a certainty in my mind. Cole might not have struggled so much if he had Sammy there as a bail out option, get in trouble…just chuck it deep. I just think the complexion of our offense, even had Cole started the whole season, would have been completely different.

Georgia loss, no way does Pruitt unleash the dogs the way he did in the second half if we had more threats at WR. We wouldn't have been pinned to our goal line for the whole second half, the defense wouldn't have gotten tired, and we'd have won the game.

FSU loss, we shouldn't have lost anyway. We win going away with those two.

GT loss, even with Watson getting hurt, again, I don't think Cole would have struggled as much with a guy like Sammy to help alleviate some of the pressure he was facing. I just can't see us losing that game.

That's an undefeated regular season which would have easily put us in the playoff. From there, its anybody's guess, but after seeing the #4 seed OSU win it all, especially after we dominated them in the Orange bowl a year earlier, I have absolutely no doubt we could have won it. We might have even been the odds on favorite, but I won't go as far as saying we would have won it, just because anything can happen.
