I did not expect to win. I thought we would see a 31-17 type game with them pulling away late maybe even leading the entire game. We just don’t have the depth to compete with them at this point.
However, I didn’t expect to see what I did today.
- I thought play calling would be much more innovative.
- I thought we would see a lot more motion
- I thought we would commit to the run, in particular the inside runs
- I thought we would give Cade would complete a lot more quick hitting completions.
- I thought we would see any other WR than Antonio
- I thought we would see some type of life on offense, an identity, and something we could hang our hats on moving forward. Something that would give us hope that this would be a different year offensively.
I saw none of the above. That is what concerns me the most. I just don’t see us moving the ball on anyone consistently.
