I don't like this update ...

You did say it, although I'll give you benefit of the doubt that you did not mean that.

In your opinion have we ever had a period of socialism in this country? I know we have had periods where the highest income people were paying 90% tax rates (none of them actually paid that but it was their bracket). I just see the term "socialism" tossed around a lot. Obamacare is socialism. Higher taxes are socialist. Medicare is socialism. Biden is socialist. Am curious what it in your opinion equates to true socialism.
Take a look in the mirror. It’s probably what a socialist looks like.

i’m a socialist? 10 years ago I took a risk and left a high paying job to start a business. That business now makes money for me, the people I employ and most importantly the clients that we work with. Yes, I am a socialist.

You didnt build that business yourself. You should be sharing more of your earnings with the less fortunate.

I believe McMurphy has largely stuck to facts and presented a lot of information without comment.

Unfortunately I cannot say the same for people like Pat Forde and that woke, socialist, Dan Wolken, who shouldn't even be in the industry. Wolken should be writing policy for the Venezuelan government where he would be a great fit.

As opposed to reporting on and writing about sports, Wolken has a greater interest in extreme government intervention, enormously high, crushing taxes on citizens (especially job creators) and social justice issues. That is his right, of course. He's just in the wrong country, obviously.
Wolken is a bitter dude who got picked last on the three teams he play for in elementary school. He hates any success that people have and pours out the half empty glass so he can bitch about it being empty.

Thats not what he said. I think the fact that you interpreted it the way you did says something about you.

If Biden (I mean Kamala) wins the Presidency in November, and the Marxists take back the Senate, this country is on a fast track to becoming the new Venezuela. (So Wolken can help write policy right here in the good ole USA)... of course there will be a name change coming for this country also, so not sure what it will be named then.

That is not what I said or meant. What I am saying is that Mr. Wolken would rather spend time talking about that - as well as his socialist agenda - than report fairly on sports.

In Mr. Wolken's world, my business would be toast. We are resilient and can and will survive a lot of headwinds but we cannot survive Socialism. If that were to happen, I would sell the business IMMEDIATELY. We have no shot to survive that. None.

We need people with paychecks and we need them to keep most of the money that THEY earn, not have most of the money THEY earn go to the government. That's just fact. We are discretionary spending. Always have been. Always will be, as you well know.

Either he is trolling or he is just does not read.

Wow. Cris Ard, owner of Tiger Illustrated, thinks that social justice has no place in the United States.

i think justice on social issue agitators is not tough enough

not even close

these guys are "domestic terrorist"

everytime

1 cop kills a person regardless of color or sex

0ver 1,000 black humans, of which 15% or so are children are shot by other black humans

and

the cops save at least 4 lives over that time span

so if you really cared about social justice

you would focus your energy elsewhere

social justice has a place but its not the sports page..hope that helps

I don’t believe you’re that obtuse. Clearly Ard is indicating Wolken’s love of all things Marxist shows he’s probably not “home” here.

i wonder why people like him dont just move to socialist countries. their are many in europe and canada.

why should 1 person who thinks our democracy sucks have any say in changing something our forefathers spilled blood for 200 years to build

in 200 years they did what most civilizations couldnt do in 2000 years

just move already

isn't that what Jesus asks all of us? We should all strive for that. Sharing with those less fortunate and treating/loving them like you love yourself.

I agree.

I don't agree with giving it to the government so they can “help” others.
You’ll find everyone in need and make sure they’re taken care of? We should just shut down all the government assistance programs then we’ve got it covered. In a country so rich and full of Christians that should end poverty deaths. Let me know how to help get your omnipresent charity organization off the ground.

I don’t agree with the way they do it or the efficiency sometimes, but nobody is taking care of all those in need if you’re not the actual second coming.

Are we arguing? If so, im not sure what about.

That you are hyper-partisan, twist people’s words and a big part of what’s wrong with reasonable political discourse in this country.

yes, you are never partisan. You are as open minded as they come.
