I am aware of this and it changes nothing. You saw what happened to Cheney also. House cleaning in process. She will be primaried and gone from congress in the next election also. McCarthy better watch himself and what he says as we are all listening.

We are witnessing the beginning of the end of the Republican Party. There are threats of a new breakaway party. I wish there was a truly fiscally Conservative party that the democrats would have to negotiate with. To be conservative doesn't mean you have to be crazy too. Cheney was removed for telling the truth, much like McConnell and McCarthy did after the January 6 insurrection. Only she never changed her story. Now republicans in congress say the January 6 insurrection looked like an ordinary tourist day at the capitol. And they continue to worship at the feet of their Cheeto Jesus, a guy who won 1 election against a very flawed candidate and whose leadership caused the loss of the House election in 2018, the White House in 2020 and the Senate in 2020. I know its not a scientific poll but virtually all of my adult friends who are Republicans detest the former president and would never vote for him.
