Their head coach quit on them in the middle of the season, in the midst of a tragedy in Columbia with no explanation and all evidence pointing to him doing so for self serving reasons around his own record.
I respect everything the man did as a coach, but for the players who signed up to play for him thinking they were going to be playing for the legend it's hard enough when the coach gets fired. It's hard enough when he leaves for another job...but when the man just quits on his own midyear it is a slap in the face to every single one of those players who worked their tails off for him.
With all sincerity and putting rivalry aside, I feel terrible for those players.
