I'm sick that we didn't flat out pour resources in to this program over that time, and that as a consequence, our fan base had to endure just a roller coaster of staggering ups and downs.
But the tide has turned. Thursday night road game. First road game of the year against a team that just absolutely HAD to win this game. Persevered through a couple interceptions and a 100-yard kickoff return. More injuries. And our all-world QB who doesn't quite look 100%, etc.
And found a way to win. That game had all of the ingredients of a classic heartbreaking Clemson loss... right down to the agonizing first down overturn at the end. That tight end catches that ball in the open field for Louisville on that last drive and I know that all of the sudden I wasn't worried about a tying field goal. I was worried about a game winning touchdown.
We are going to be a tough out for anybody for the next forever. And it's awesome.
