defense. VERY disciplined which is required against G.T.'s offense. Their front seven were gap sound and played their assignments almost every play. G.T. broke a couple of outside runs by pitching it to the A back, but otherwise N.D. did an excellent job of shutting Tech down. Especially sound against the dive play. Something else that impressed me besides their discipline was their tackling. VERY GOOD tacklers. Tackling almost seems like a lost art nowadays [see Sakerliner defense against Jawja for a prime example of poor tackling], but N.D. was laying the wood on almost every play.
Can't say much for their offense, at least in that game, but they are very salty and sound on the defensive side. I'm looking forward to how Elliot and Scott attack them. I hope Deshaun shows out on the big stage, in prime time. Show America what he's got. This will be his biggest chance so far in his career.
