Something I think we all can get behind is that these guys are supposed to be working for the people and not themselves. Power and greed have taken over politics, wish it wasn't so, but again the term limits solve all these issues.

I think all Americans agree on the need for Congressional term limits. The only people that don't are in CONGRESS.

The Republicans made it a central tenet of the '94 Contract With America, but failed to ever get the concept out of committee to even debate on the House floor - and they were the majority! Since then, it has never seriously been discussed. Until Americans demand that it be passed, Congress will continue business as usual and we will have the Graham's, McConnell's, Schumer's, Pelosi's, etc. spending their entire adult lives in Washington.

this x1000. It would make a huge difference. People would go to washington to serve their country, not make money. The amount of power in the hierarchy of the two party system would greatly decrease as well.
