Inflation is back to where it was when Tuttle hit Jordan for Natty No. 1

All of you who voted for this are (with all due respect) hereby invited to die in a fire.
Give me an option other than a Trump and I’ll roll with it.

Anyhow, this was coming regardless, all those stimulus, work at home, unemployment, PPP loans meant that there was too much money circulating in the wrong hands. This was inevitable and will correct itself.

This x100

I never realized that Perry Tuttle threw that touchdown pass😜

Serious question because I don’t know the answer: What, if anything, could Biden have done to stop inflation?

Cut off your nose in spite of your face, makes perfect sense.

It was easy with Trump, just turn off the TV and sit back and watch your 401K/Retirement funds grow. That was more important to me and easy to do. I couldn't stand his rants either but didn't care/didn't watch.

10 years of growth in retirement - POOF, gone in 18 months. Thanks to people who couldn't swallow their pride.

You're not going to like DeSantis if he runs, Trump Lite imo but we need him sorely.

More like cut off my nose to save my eyes and ears. I’m so happy to wake up and not be in the midst of a new racial argument everyday…and lord, no damn tweets. Trump was just awful for everyone’s mental health.

This is exactly correct, but it's way cooler to blame Biden/Dems

Holy shit. A correction is coming? Impossible. I’d rather bathe in fear porn about the 1920s.

what’s really amazing is how Biden’s policies managed to raise inflation in almost every developed country in the world. That dude is omnipotent.

Repubs and Dems are mostly alike with one main difference. Repubs don't believe in democracy. To wit the first president in our history who refused the peaceful transfer of power. His fragile ego could not admit he lost, even though he was told by allies that he did. Then his fragile ego irreparably damaged the country by claiming the election was stolen. It wasn't. Remember the first PPP money was from Trump. If you don't believe that was a contributing cause for inflation you don't understand the concept of too much money chasing too few goods.

Is this a criticism or a congratulatory statement for my improved mental health now that Trump is out of office?

I'm saying that if the president affects your mental health, you already have issues. Obama, Trump, Biden... Zero impact on my mental health. Mean tweets, zero impact.

Who cares, we learned under the last administration that now whenever anything bad happens in the world in the US Presidents fault.

Sorry, but Biden has to own it. This is how we operate now.

He has to own all of it, that is the new political norm
Not really new. Current president takes the heat or credit for the economy in their term. Regardless of who actually created the issue.

Makes sense in a way - there's nothing Trump can do about the economy right now but Biden is the one in position to 'fix it' - if anyone in government can.

If Joe doesn’t right the ship SOON we really will be back to Tuttle levels of inflation.
