No clue. Honestly an issue I don’t know enough about to give an educated opinion. Are humans negatively affecting the environment? Probably. To what extent? Idk. Does that extent warrant drastic changes to our lifestyles and economies in the present? Idk either.
Of course it’s still a thing, but with Biden as the President Democrats don’t need to use it for election leverage.
Same as how the Republicans never speak of deficits when their guy is in the White House, but suddenly become fiscally responsible when they aren’t in power.

I’m 35 and republicans pretty much only railed on the deficit most of my life while the left ran the tab up recklessly. It’s just what both parties did. Of course that was back when the party lines weren’t so blurred… Now party means nothing, it’s all one in the same. Trump came in and exacerbated the issue, and he holds a lot of blame. But now Dems are wanting to act like stewards of the economy. It’s laughable
But what’s even more laughable is how climate change is a pressing issue that has to be addressed immediately… until a mass shooting happens or something more politically expedient occurs. Then everyone forgets about it and it suddenly stops being time-sensitive
I’m just curious as to why we haven’t heard anything about it for so long. The silence is deafening

Back in 2015/2016 my leftist mother was on the verge of a nervous breakdown because of climate change. We had a big falling out because she basically called me a POS for supposedly not caring about the life of my child because I wasn’t up in arms over it like she was. We didn’t talk for for over a year. Her little bout of weather psychosis lasted for about a year, year and a half… Currently she isn’t the slightest bit worried about it but is instead worried about Trump enslaving the world and grabbing all the pussies
I’m just waiting for the next wave of media-induced weather hysteria to rear it’s head so I can laugh at the useful idiots
