It’s one thing to me to twist facts. I don’t like it, but it feels like, that’s politics and twisting is bipartisan.

Drives me nuts when things are made up like this. If anyone is being killed, it’s awful, support asylum and refuge status for those legitimately affected similar to others in need. But when you lie or make things up to support your argument, you lose me.

Agreed.

Let's even give them the benefit of the doubt, that it was just a mistake. You just can't make that kind of mistake when you are using it to support being aggressive to a foreign head of state. You cannot make that mistake, it makes the rest of your case suspect.

If you did something like this in a regular, professional environment you would most likely be terminated, but definitely face disciplinary action.
