It's still so sad that people act like it was so bad before. Yes there are things we can always work on to make things better but that doesn't involve tearing down everything that has been built so far. Hearing the birds chirp and knowing that this was a vibrant, clean, and beautiful area before all of this is just awful. It was safe for everyone to walk through. Every race, gender, nationality could walk those streets a month ago and feel completely at ease regarding their safety. A testament to our great society that can always be improved. Now, it's one of the most unsafe places in the US. I pray that people will stand up for what is right, lawful, and promotes a peaceful community. Even if it means getting uncomfortable to bring things back into order.

they just don't trust that the govt services that they are paying for has their best interest in mind.
