It's personal, do not be confused. For the past few years the so called "tinfoil hats" of the Clemson faithful have been told their perceived anti-Clemson bias in the media was a myth. This past week saw every national media outlet put SCAR and crying Shane Beamer in the golden spotlight of the sport.

From Gameday, to Josh Pate, the week was full Shamecock propaganda. Meetings with the Mayor, Beamer, and sunshine pumping every corner of their program. It must be highlighted that McAfee and Pate are personal friends/acquaintances with Beamer, so some bias can be expected. Oddly, every aspect of the SCAR program was mentioned except one.

The Palmetto State Rivalry. No mention of Clemson to get a loud pop of from a rowdy crowd? Not even once? Not one mention of the upstate across any TV program. When is the last time you talked about Bama without mentioning the Iron bowl? Ohio State without Michigan? Texas without Oklahoma? Not a single mention of a great college rivalry, one that spans across all sports.

None of this is news to anyone paying attention, but if you haven't been, I hope you start. Do not let them convince you otherwise, the animosity towards Clemson is personal. Regardless, SCAR puked on its shoes on a national stage (Again) and we move on to NC State. Go Tigers.
