Jalen Ramsey Tweet (Updated wit Dandre Hopkins)

I know a vaccinated (J&J) person that tested positive yesterday. Her husband and youngest son have tested negative 3 days in a row while the other two sons have tested postive... They thinks the two boys got it Sat. at youth football practice. Mother got it from the boy's.

I really don’t care if people don’t want to get vaccinated. I’m protected. If they wanna be stupid and take a chance at being one of the long haulers or folks in the hospital or casket….that’s on them. Good luck with that!

Plenty of data suggesting natural immunity is just as gold, if not better than the vaccine. The government/news won’t put that out there though. If you haven’t had the Rona, it’s prob best to get the shot though.

I say suggesting, bc all of the data on this year and a half old virus isn’t concrete yet.

Color me “stupid” if i choose bit receive the glorified flu shot that isn’t even FDA approved and has potential life altering side effects. Blood clots, seizures, deaths and miscarriages all related to the “vaccine.” Ivermectin is a very succesful and cheap therapy . I know several “stupid” physicians whom i know and trust who have refused the vaccine . I will take Vit D, zinc, B complex and Vit C. I have bever gotten a flu shot and have never gotten the flu. Call me stupid or just judicious about what i do with my own health.

The kicker is if the NFL has to forfeit games the players don't get paid. That makes me smile.

As I said before some teams are in it too win it versus others

This is the correct answer!

Vaccine-generated immunity > natural immunity

I wish it were that simple. The more this thing transfers from person to person the more it will mutate and the less effective your vaccine will be. The vaccine wasn’t designed to stop everyone from getting the virus.

It’s efficacy revolves around killing the virus quickly once it enters the body. Obviously if it destroys the virus quickly it significantly reduces the likelihood of someone becoming gravely ill and/or passing it along to others. People who are vaccinated will contract the virus and people who are vaccinated will be hospitalized and die, but it will happen at a significantly lower rate than unvaccinated people.

While I agree that people have a right to be dumb, not only do unvaccinated fatties increase the risk of vaccine-resistant variants forming, the rest of us are subsidizing their hospital stay. At a minimum insurance should stop covering covid expenses from the unvaccinated (although most of them probably don't have insurance anyway)

Vaccine-generated immunity > natural immunity
Ok smart guy by how much? 1% 25%? How much longer does one last versus the other. I’ll wait for you to post your peer reviewed data. The burden of proof falls on you guy. Good luck finding any.

I have no problem with you not getting your shot. Just don't ask me to wear a mask or social distance from people that also "choose" that path. I look at it like this, if you don't care enough about your health then I am not going to care about your health either. We can all be selfish and be happy.

We don’t have any idea how many asymptomatic vaccinated carriers are out there spreading this thing. The variants are gonna happen no matter what. It’s ok though they will have yearly boosters.

In the name of individual freedom and personal choice, many on here and in this country take the position that it's a person's choice what medical treatment (i.e. to vax or not) they expose their body too, regardless of the fact that if one chooses not to vax they increase the potential virus danger for other persons around them. This position is the predominate view of the antivaxxer.

It would be interesting to poll these folks on their view of women's right to an abortion.

It appears from my own anecdotal observance the antivaxxer is typically the same person that is ant-reproductive rights. I am not sure how they reconcile these beliefs.

Couldn't the opposite be said of your last sentence about the vaxxers? What I've witnessed are people wearing "my body, my choice" t-shirts, yet scream at others that they should take a shot.

Just sayin'.....

That guy isn't interested in anything he doesn't already know.

What's your chances of you shitting yourself while you're out and about today? For argument's sake, less say it's 99.8% that you won't. So what we're going to need you to do is go ahead and wear a diaper just in case. And truthfully, it's not for your protection, it's for everybody else's. You good? Good! And thanks for your cooperation.

He came with the goods, not show us the peer review of your opinion

the folks for vaccinations and pro-reproductive rights likely have a different definition of when a cell becomes a person. the ant-vaxxer and anti-retrodictive rights person generally believes life begins at conception with some cells coming together.

if you believe life begins at conception or even at 5 weeks thereafter you have much tougher belief to reconcile with being an antivaxxer.

The answer is that this isn't political, and the people politicizing it (on all sides) aren't checking all of their beliefs to see if they're consistent with whatever tribal thing they're now joining. I don't know why people irrationally politicizing medical issues would be expected to have rational consistency. It certainly doesn't make much sense to me for conservatives to be against vaccination, since it's usually been weirdo hippies in the northwest who were against it. The most political thing about this that I'd say is that we've gotten so used to seeing everything according to what we can choose and will, that we have a hard time dealing with biological realities that are givens.

The whole "my body my choice" thing is always a red herring, anyway, and in this case, it's a major tangent. We don't need to bring abortion into this already fraught issue.

Worst thing the CDC ever did was tell people that wearing a mask is to help other people and society as a whole. Because it is quite clear, people do not give a damn if the guy beside them drops dead. Boy they would be pissed if everyone else did not give a crap about them
