@iceheart08

What are your thoughts on Polis as a presidential candidate? I caught him on Bill Maher and really liked him. I know he is described as a "left-libertarian" who aligns with a lot of conservatives.

I feel like he could bring the Dem party back towards the center and appeal to a lot of center right voters as well. While still addressing climate change, maintaining rights, etc.

Of course, being gay won't help him. And I am sure the more progressive wing of the dem party will push back hard.

It is crazy that my two favorite dem candidates in 2024 are both openly gay.

Not familiar with him,but I love what you are discussing. I would love some moderate centrist candidate getting some stuff actually accomplished.

Jared would appeal to a lot of folks on thos board looking for a business person who can border on libertarianism at times. He wants to do away with the income tax, for instance, and is constantly pissing liberals in Colorado off for his pro business stances. Threatened to veto paid family leave bills as too burdensome on business repeatedly.

I know him personally. He's a good guy who's heart is in the right place. He's very wealthy, and got his start by creating blue mountain greeting cards and 1800flowers web presence. He's a gamer and is not shy about it (league of legends I believe). He's very smart, and has focused the last few years in doing everything he can to save Coloradans money. He even created a state level agency called "the office of saving people money on healthcare". For real.

He is a high quality national level politician. It's worth noting that he's close with the musks (Elons brother is Colorado based and owns a bunch of restaurants here). Long been known for his poor wardrobe choices, for instance. He's a rich tech bro and he dresses like one a lot. Blue suede shoes and a collared golf shirt to go with slacks is a favorite outfit. (You can see a little of that weirdness in the shoes he's wearing in that interview)

He may be just a little too weird on the national stage though. His husband is REALLY weird too, and their kids have weird stupid names.

I will say this, Jared is genuine, always has been and he's never really wavered. Dems in the state legislature have hated him for years, applied all sorts of pressure to get him to change on specific issues, to no avail. He knows who he is and who he wants to be and is committed to being himself.

Isn't what? Weird? I don't think trump is weird, I think trump is more like everyone's shitty uncle. We all kinda know someone like trump.

Jared is more like a guy who doesn't leave his basement often because he doesn't like talking to people. He's a tech bro and is a little awkward as a human. He doesn't really do small-talk, for instance, and isn't the people pleaser that trump seems to be.

What are your thoughts on Jason Crow? I've always thought he could make a good candidate - ex-military, moderate, likeable etc... Not sure if he's got the charisma but he seems like someone that would appeal to a lot of people on both sides.

I worked for Jason in a very senior role for about a year. He's not that moderate when it comes down to it, very much a standard liberal, but he's also a great guy and good at what he does. Agree on the crossover appeal, he does great in a room of business leaders for instance, and in a room of labor guys. He/we have also been incredibly intentional about his brand, in a way that most politicians aren't. He's also very likable, agreed.

I also agree that he doesn't have Obama level charisma, but he's pretty good in a small room. Good at and eager to do retail politics. Particularly good in rooms with lots of white women.

he's always planned to do bigger things but I think he'd have a hard time in a Dem primary for president, he's not bombastic enough and is a little too normal to really generate a lot of enthusiasm. He might be able to run for us Senate here eventually and be in a position to stand on his accomplishments, but he's gonna need some major help to break out of a Dem primary at the national level.

Dang, that makes me like him even more. I feel you on the charisma part but it's not like we roll out exciting candidates lately haha. I'd love to see him give it a shot.

That 3rd paragraph is very troubling to me. I bigly do not trust Elon Musk. I was a fan until the last couple of years. I think Elon has legit supervillain potential.

If he isn't NWO then no one is!!!

@areeves we need your assistance here.
I’ve never seen his name associated with any secret societies within the NWO. That does not mean he is part of it. Ted Turner had his name scrubbed from a NWO secret society but it is well known Turner is indeed in the NWO.

As far as Musk goes, everything I’ve researched on him is a mixed bag. There are things he has said that supports he is involved & there are things he’s said that would make one believe he is not. Sooner or later, his actions & words will prove him to be in or out. I’ll spend some time doing more research on him.

I hope you determine he's bad news so that we can explicitly distrust him together.

If he believes in a carbon tax (I told y’all about that two years ago) believes in “good socialism” …. Wants humans linked to
Machines ….. Then yes, he definitely is in the NWO! It’s alleged he has said these things! I’ve never heard him say those things!
