At risk of losing my Clemson badge by questioning the greatness that is Jayron Kearse, I do have to ask if he was responsible for the two bust coverages on the GTech TDs. I did mention in the game thread that I thought he might be the best Clemson safety I've ever seen in my time as a fan. And he was a having an amazing game out there, but I could have sworn he was the deep safety on both plays. He was playing up and aiding run support when the Jackets players got behind him.
Trust me, I would rather have a comfortable lead where our guys can play aggressively. But I was a tad surprise he was the Clemson defensive player of the game when those two plays were pretty big to the final tally.
Curious if anyone can respectfully comment on that since I have not watched the replay...
