Personally, I’m not taking the vaccine anytime soon but those that are should be thanking President Trump for his leadership during an unprecedented time for our country & the world...leading us through the pandemic while getting a vaccine developed at warp speed is impressive indeed...

Trump ignored the pandemic, turned common sense public health into a political debate, and played the fiddle while hundreds of thousands of Americans died. Warp speed had little to no effect on the release of the vaccine. What trump’s administration did ensure was that once the vaccine was ready that its rollout and distribution was a totally discombobulated clusterf**k. He promoted division and stupidity and the country is significantly better off without him.

Your refusal to get the vaccine only serves to slow the economic recovery of the pandemic. How anyone could believe that Trump was even a mediocre leader during the pandemic is beyond me. Yet again, you are totally wrong on another topic. Your ability to be wrong at nearly every single opportunity is impressive. I envy the ignorance of people like you and @amynhop. It must be a true luxury to live in a fake reality and to be able to ignore the world as it really is.

No, I don’t want it nor do I need it...I just don’t prefer to be a lab rat for long term testing bc no matter what anyone says, NO ONE knows the long term effects of this thing...maybe there are none which would be great but my family & I will give it some time before we consider taking it...
But hey, Biden’s doing a “great” job so far...just since he’s taken office we’ve got a border crisis that dwarfs the one Trump ever had, gas prices rising, food prices rising, significant problems with Iran, North Korea, & Russia already taking shape, & we’re back to being China’s bitch again...

Gas prices are rising because of destruction of Texas refineries secondary to conservative leadership and greed.

Pfizer needed no help from the government to produce the vaccine. Trump’s lack of leadership is why we are in this in the first place. You’re an idiot.

Of course the gas prices are the fault of conservatives...funny though, we had a republican president for four years & never once during his administration were gas prices this high...not once...

Texas conservatives voted to deregulate the power/energy industry in Texas. Surely this would lead to a better product in a glorious free market? Incorrect. Instead, these companies decided not to invest in winterizing their facilities because that costs money and would lead to less profit. Not a loss, just less profit. Then, a winter storm hits and the entire power grid is brought to its knees and millions in the state are living in conditions similar to that of 3rd world countries. Good thing those power companies were able to leech off some more profit right? Now many oil refineries in Texas are either nonfunctional or operating at partial capacity. Where does the US go for oil to fill in the gap? The middle east. Guess who controls the large majority of oil supply? The middle east and OPEC. During Trump's presidency, OPEC intentionally flooded the market with oil to bring the price of it down in an attempt to cripple American oil companies. So yeah, your low gas prices were the result of aggressive foreign business. Why were these foreign markets so hostile? Because Trump was hostile towards them. You should be happy gas prices are going up, because that means American oil companies are now raking in the billions of profits they deserve. And as most modern Republicans support, now poor people and the middle class will continue to suffer.

The pandemic originated in China. But any attempt to acknowledge Trump's efforts towards controlling and response to the pandemic as anything other than a complete and total shitshow is simply going to get you laughed at. The guy 100% downplayed it and lied until it was too late. He alone is why his dipshit millions of followers think wearing a mask is a form of communism and that public health is some sort of conspiracy theory. The Trump party and its supporters have succeeded in destroying the fabric of American society. We find ourselves in a total clusterf*ck because of the attitude promoted by him and his administration.
