The girls shot a combined +2 for the day and are in 5th place in a fairly deep field. Pretty good for a young team. The big news of the day is that Alice Hewson, freshman from UK, shot a blistering 65 ( 7 under par ), to lead the Tigers. Pretty encouraging to see this young program start to make a name for itself. Hope Coach Horton continues to land these young stars to the roster. Tomorrow is the final day of competition at the Cougar Classic in Charleston. I'll try to post again if time permits.
