As I mentioned after the ND game, there is 1 Gamecock fan at my gym that is just...well, he's a genius.
Anyway, this was his comment this morning-
Spurrier was going to retire at the end of this season. When Grier got suspended for PED, he decided to move up his timeline to protect his beloved Gators from having their program and reputation dragged through the mud. He knew when he retired, all of the media focus would be on him so people would just forget about UF's issues.
Like I said, he's a genius.
