I haven’t listened to Kid Rock since I was in high school years ago, but any song that goes against that imbecile, fake President is good to me.
I hate that he’s decided to become some Fox News cliched act. He’s crazy talented, self-made, and seems like a pretty real guy. I wish he wouldn’t go for the low-hanging fruit.
After reading that Rolex thread, I'm sure there's many on here that would say that Kid Rock sucks. 😆
He's become more outspoken as those on the left have become more maniacal and more critical of him.
The guy loves America, shoots it straight, says what he thinks and doesn't give a damn what anybody thinks about his opinion so I can respect that.
I hated the guy when he first came out but I slowly became a fan. He's a self taught multi instrumentalist who advocates for low ticket prices to his shows so lower income folks can attend and gives a lot to charity.
His music ain't for everyone but if you grew up jamming the rock/rap stuff like I did in my teens and early 20s, it's fun to listen to on a Friday afternoon leaving work or whenever the kids aren't around.
I love the guy. Devil Without a Cause is a classic. And I have no issue with him being outspoken or political. But it’s 2022 and he’s talking about snowflakes and participation trophies…
His song and video that came out a month or two ago…people really thought it was parody. It was cringey.

He is an extremely average musician (probably made three actually good songs). He has found a new base with the MAGA crowd and is pandering to them to stay relevant.
What is funny to me though about this thread... a lot of the same people who have been crying about Dre and Snoop doing the super bowl are in here putting Kid Rock on a pedestal.
Can you back that up with evidence? Should be easy to find.

... eh ... I dont think Kid Rock is "pandering" at all. He 100% believes it and ... from what I know of Kid Rock, he doesnt really care if he is relevant or not. Im not a fan of his music, it makes me *cringe* every time I hear him ... I would say of his entire body of work, I enjoy approximately ...40 secs of it (the intro of Bawitdaba ... brings me back to my early 20s).... with that said ... as *cringe* as this song is .... still a better message and more inclusive than ANYTHING Biden has said or down in the last 52+ weeks. Still a better message about "equality" than anything that has been vomited into existence by BLM and their various regional cells.
and I must have missed it ... who has been crying about Snoop and Dre? The only thing that made me say 'WTF" was the inclusion of Kendrick Lamar ... he just seems a little out of place with the rest of the line up.

Fun fact. Not once in his entire voting rights speech did he use the word "racist" or "racism". Every right wing taking head claims he did.

i am well aware of the backstory. i was watching the race when it happened. the bottom like is it's a bunch of adults that are too scared to say what they actually want to say.

Well Kid Rock didn't beat the hell out of multiple women (that I know of) and assault a cop like Dre did and he hasnt had to beat a murder rap like Snoop did and every single one of his songs doesnt talk about killing cops, beating women and doing drive by shootings.
Yeah I listened to Dre and Snoop when I was younger and I still like the music but after everything that's happened in this country the last few years, I completely understand why people would have a problem with the halftime show being performed by those two.
Kid Rock is no Saint and I dont listen to his music when my kids are around but Dre and Snoop's music is on a whole different level than Kid Rock when it comes to violence against women, cops, and pretty much everybody.
Come on man. He called everybody that doesn't support his voting rights bill a racist. Just because his speech writer didn't actually write out the "R" word, if you basically say your opponents will fall on the side of Bull Connor, George Wallace and Jefferson Davis, you're calling them a racist without actually saying the word.
Lest we forget the Constitution gives the power to run elections to the states but Jim Crow Joe never misses an opportunity to pander to black Americans and divide the people a little more.
Playing the race card is all they've got right now with Democrats poised to lose the Senate and House in November. God knows they've never actually done a damn thing for black America other than reinforce the idea that white people and cops are to blame for their problems.
