I went to River Bluff last night to watch Lexington v Westside. First, Westside is much better than I anticipated. My good friend Blake Williamson's (former QB for the cocks behind Tannyhill), son Jackson is the QB there. Lexington was #7 in the state, and Westside absolutely took it to them. Westside's D was a lot better than I thought. Jackson is a really solid QB. Probably a Coastal Carolina, Furman, Wofford, etc. type QB. They have a great TE who is about 6"2, another 2 to 3 inches, and that kid could play at the BCS level IMHO. Paul anybody on Westside's team to keep an eye on? I will be at most of their games this year. Lexington has a freshman WR who is 6"5 already. Made a couple good snags last night. You know anything about him? I have no idea what his name was, but he looked pretty good to be that young, and at that size? Hopper was impressive I thought. Caught the ball well. Always caught it with his hands, never trapped it with his body. Made a couple good catches. The most impressive thing I saw from him, was that he is very physical. He did not shy away from contact at all. He always seemed to deliver the blow instead of taking it. He also had no problem taking some pretty big pops over the middle on short slant routes. I like him a lot. I am not sure he would be playing at Clemson as of now, but no question he reminds me of Grisham, Humphries, etc. Thanks in advance for anything you got Paul or anybody on the board.
